Forbes 30 Under 30 Honors Raise Robotics Leaders for Innovations in High-Rise Glazing

The co-founders of a robotics company that seeks to improve the efficiency and safety of contract glazing work were named to Forbes’ annual 30 Under 30 list. The list, now in its 15th year, recognizes industry leaders who are leading transformative change within business, culture and entrepreneurship.

Among the 30 selected this year in the manufacturing and industry category were Raise Robotics’ co-founders, Conley Oster and Gary Chen. Their company develops semi-autonomous robots for onsite construction work. The robots help install brackets for glass facade panels on high-rise buildings, a task that can put workers in dangerous situations. They can perform this task with high precision, leading to a faster return on investment for contractors.

“Seeing our names on Forbes 30 Under 30 was a shock for sure,” says Oster. “You do not make the list, especially as a robotics company, without surrounding yourselves with the right people. Like parenthood, it takes a village. Our team, our customers, IUPAT and the collective glass and glazing community have pushed us, challenged us and shaped our work from the beginning. You have enabled us to build better products, move fast and stay anchored in what the field actually needs. Making the list was a great way to close the year strong and reflect on what we have built, but I can assure you the best is yet to come.”

Raise Robotics is one of several robotics companies recognized in the manufacturing and industry category; however, it was the only one associated with the glass and glazing industry. Since its inception in 2021, the company has raised $11.8 million. Overall, the Forbes 30 Under 30 class of 2026 has raised $3.8 billion in funding.

“For this year’s 15th anniversary list, we are seeing Gen Z take on more leadership roles and rethink the ways we create impact through art, healthcare, education and more,” says Alexandra York, associate editor at Forbes. “Artificial intelligence is booming and becoming integrated into every aspect of our lives and our businesses, and this year’s list makers are harnessing these technical skills under their belt to create new paths to success.”
