Hajoca Acquires Onsemble to Boost Contractor-Focused AI

The deal brings AI-powered software solutions and field-tested contractor tools to one of the country’s top distributors of plumbing, HVAC and industrial supplies.

Hajoca, one of the largest privately-held wholesale distributors of plumbing, HVAC and industrial supplies in the U.S., has acquired Onsemble — a software provider developing intuitive, AI-enabled tools that help contractors grow.

Onsemble will serve as a dedicated digital innovation engine within Hajoca, focused on delivering modern, contractor-first tools – particularly to small and midsized plumbing businesses.

Founded by Rick Klau and Julia Yrani and originally backed by Silicon Valley investors, Onsemble assembled a team that has spent the last several years developing technology with and for contractors.

“We built Onsemble because too many contractors are left behind by tech that doesn’t understand their world,” said Rick Klau, Co-Founder and CEO of Onsemble. “Joining Hajoca gives us the resources and reach to serve those contractors better than ever.”

Hajoca told MDM that the Onsemble team will remain intact and focused on delivering solutions that support Hajoca’s long-term contractor strategy.
